Mon Jan 28 – Your week can start with a lively gallop on this active and optimistic Wood Horse day! The element Wood in Chinese astrology is about growth, like a plant developing in springtime. So OK to take a few risks today that lead to your advancement. The Moon is opposite Mars so don’t get irritated by little things. Plus the Moon is opposite Neptune tonight so you might feel a bit moody or overly sensitive. But under the influence of the strong Horse, it will be easier to be direct and quickly move forward instead of dwelling on the past. Tues Jan 29 is the day of the creative Wood Sheep. Sheep are kind and care about others. Fortunately the Moon trines Pluto so you can more easily forgive and express empathy for those who may have hurt you. Plus Moon sextiles Saturn so good to carve out some alone time to refresh your soul. You can balance your emotional needs with the needs of others. Wed Jan 30 is a Fire Monkey day for sudden luck and unique opportunity. The planet of good fortune Jupiter goes direct today after being retrograde since October 4. Now doors can open and there will be fewer obstacles in your path. But the Sun squares Saturn so you might have problems with authority figures; just don’t directly confront higher-ups. Do as you please, and have a fun mid-week bash this evening when Moon trines Venus. Luck is strongest for the Monkey, Rat, Dragon, and Snake and during the hours of the Monkey 3 pm – 5 pm.
Thurs Jan 31 is the day of the Fire Phoenix (Rooster). The Fire Bird is known for being direct, and Sun trines Moon so you can be clear and honest about your feelings. But Moon squares Pluto so avoid power struggles; be like the Phoenix reborn instead of pecking about details to prove that you are correct. Today is superb for self analysis and understanding, which is not always easy. Sat Feb 2 is an Earth Pig day, and Pig loves to party and celebrate. According to sensual Pig, the original bon vivant, life is a banquet so eat, drink, and be merry! Plus Moon trines Mars and Neptune, and sextiles Pluto bringing added energy, a positive outlook, and deep feelings of appreciation for loved ones. Fortunately today is the exact point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox to help stay balanced and not overindulge too much. Sun Feb 3 is a Metal Rat day, good for organizing and planning. I have a grand daughter born Feb 1 2013 at 4:36 pm. She is a water dragon year, earth dog day. What about month and hour? Her Father died two weeks before she was born.
