Sat Feb 9 and Sun Feb 10 from 2 – 5 pm.

This week’s highlights are double Ox on Monday, double Dragon on Thursday, and the new Moon very late Saturday night at 11:20 pm PST starts the year of the Water Snake. (Note that Chinese New Year will be listed as Feb 10 on some calendars.) Good bye Dragon year! We won’t see another Dragon year until 2024.

Monday Feb 4 – Back to work as the week begins on a Metal Ox day in this Ox month. Under the influence of the double Ox, time to buckle down and work without complaining. Stick with tried and true methods instead of new innovations. The planet Mars combines with Neptune so goals are not clear. Plus the Moon squares Mercury, as well as the Mars and Neptune combination, so communications can be too subjective and emotional. Today is not the day for bold moves and declarations. Just stay steady and avoid confrontation. On this double Ox day luck is strongest for those born in Ox, Rat, Snake, and Phoenix (Rooster) years and during the hours of the Ox 1 am – 3 am.

Tuesday Feb 5 – Energy picks up on this day of the strong Water Tiger. Fortunately, the Sun sextiles the Moon for emotional balance. The different facets of your personality are in tune with each other. It’s easy to speak your truth, and everyday interactions can go smoothly. Today is a good day to confront problems head on because there can be a rapid resolution resulting in all parties satisfied. You can succeed with less effort than usual, and relationships are harmonious. Luck is strongest for those born in Tiger, Dog, Horse and Pig years and during the hours of the Tiger 3 am – 5 am.

Wednesday Feb 6 is a sensitive Water Hare day when emotions matter. Time to listen to others and understand their feelings. The Moon is in harmonious sextile to Mercury, Mars, and Neptune so creativity can flow and interests in the arts can flourish. Tonight love planet Venus trines Jupiter, a very lucky aspect for romance, socializing, and having a good time. So enjoy a midweek break when love is highlighted, and when we tend to see the best in others. Luck is strongest for those born in Hare, Sheep, Dog, and Pig years and during the hours of the Hare 5 am – 7 am.

Thursday Feb 7 is a Wood Dragon day during the very end of this Dragon year. On this double Dragon day, there is a sense of fate or karma with others. Adding to the power of this day is that the Moon blends with transformation planet Pluto. This can bring very intense feelings and experiences; energy can surface from the deepest part of your psyche. The events that occur today can bring awareness to your real feelings and values. Fortunately the Moon sextiles Saturn so life does not become too brooding or moody. This can be a calm and reflective time of self awareness. Luck is strongest for those born in Dragon, Rat, Snake, and Monkey years and during the hours of the Dragon 7 am – 9 am.

Friday Feb 8 – Take a break as energy winds down as the lunar cycle completes on this day of the Wood Snake. Snake is quiet and reflective, so let go and prepare for the Lunar New Year that begins this weekend. Today communication planet Mercury blends with Mars for strong intellectual and mental work. But the influence of Mars can lead to a fight. And when Snakes start fighting, they do not want to lose! So avoid battles today and hold your tongue. This evening all conflict is forgotten when the Moon sextiles Uranus and trines Jupiter for something different or amusing, and social interactions can be fun and entertaining. Luck is strongest for those born in the Snake, Ox, Monkey, and Phoenix (Rooster) years and during the hours of the Snake 9 am – 11 am.

Saturday Feb 9 – Happy New year! Tonight’s new Moon begins the year of the Water Snake and the month of the Wood Tiger. The energy of the Wood Tiger brings the power and vitality of springtime, which is ideal because Chinese New Year is a spring festival. There is much activity and excitement on this fire Horse day when anything can happen. Horse and Tiger are best friends, bringing a fortunate beginning to this Snake year. The Sun blends with the Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars adding communication skills, love luck, and strength to relationships. Connections with others are very harmonious, especially relationships with women. Luck is strongest for the Horse, Tiger, Sheep, and Dog and during the hours of the Horse 11 am – 1 pm.

Sunday Feb 10 – Happy New Year continues on this artistic and creative day of the Fire Sheep. The Moon blends with Neptune for increased sensitivity to your surroundings and increased empathy towards others. Kindness is key because it’s very easy to pick upon the energies of others. You are more intuitive and can feel like a psychic sponge. It’s OK to fantasize, or escape a bit into the world or dreams, entertainment, and celebration. Toast to the New year and have a great time! Luck is strongest for those born in Sheep, Hare, Horse, and Pig years and during the hours of the Sheep 1 pm – 3 pm.

Have a good week!

Love,

Susan

PISCES NEW MOON STARTS WATER HARE MONTH

February 20, 2012 § Leave a comment

Pisces New Moon Starts Water Hare Month

Tuesday February 21 is a new Moon in the compassionate and psychic Water sign Pisces. Moon, Sun, Mercury, and Neptune are all in watery Pisces so people are far  more sensitive and intuition is heightened. Now is a time of inspiration, unique creativity, and allowing your imagination to fly free.

This new Moon starts the month of the Water Hare. Kind, artistic Water Hare loves peace, and adds a gentle flow to this powerful Water Dragon year. Anticipate ups and downs in a Dragon year, but keep evolving and ride the Dragon. The Water element makes it easier to quickly adapt to change, yet stay strong.

This lunar cycle brings opportunities for deeper understanding, spiritual breakthroughs, and an attitude of gratitude, especially for the Water signs Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio and those born in Hare, Sheep, and Pig years.

Happy new Moon,

Susan
