2022 Virgo Full Moon in Rabbit Lunar Month

March 16, 2022 § Leave a comment

March 18, 2022 is a full Moon in Virgo at 12:17 am PDT. Earth sign Virgo rules the 6th house of health, work, and service. For some, it’s time to reassess work commitments and ways to be of service. For others this full moon, and as the moon wanes, is time for nurturing and attention to health.

Virgos tend to be analytical, and their actions are usually well thought out. Virgo is ruled by Mercury, as is Gemini. The one astrology sign opposite Virgo is the intuitive and sensitive Water sign Pisces. The Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune are all in Pisces at this full Moon. Your rational mind tells you one thing while your heart tells you another!

With many planets in Pisces, follow your heart. It’s easier to do in this Water Tiger year and Water Rabbit month. Rabbit correlates to the Western sign Pisces, adding to the Piscean ability to easily flow and adapt to change. Contact me for your tarot reading about life direction, or your astrology forecast for timing.

Venus conjuncts Mars in Capricorn that’s fortunate for love and romance. Venus and Mars square Uranus in Taurus. This can be disruptive, but also liberating. So be patient with loved ones — or get things out in the open to reach a deeper understanding. Maintain Rabbit kindness and flexibility with Tiger’s need for direct expression.

Spring Equinox is March 20 at 8:33 am PDT, equal day and equal night on Earth, and the solar point between Winter Solstice and Summer Solstice. The Sun enters Fire sign Aries, marking the beginning of the solar year. Time for a spring awakening after a Covid winter!

Pisces compassion and Equinox balance are for everyone, and are most transformational for Earth signs Virgo, Capricorn, and Taurus and those born in Rat, Ox, Rabbit, and Snake years.

Happy full Moon,

Susan

2021 Taurus Full Moon Eclipse

November 16, 2021 § Leave a comment

Mark your calendar for my online 2022 Chinese New Year of the Water Tiger talk on Sunday January 9, 2022 at 2 pm PST. When Tiger arrives, it will be the new Roaring Twenties! Info at Tiger 2022.

November 19, 2021 at 12:57 am PST is a full Moon in Taurus. At 1:02 am PST is a partial lunar eclipse, reddish in color and visible in North and Central America, and parts of Asia and the Pacific including Australia. The eclipse will last for almost 3 and 1/2 hours, and is the longest partial solar eclipse in 580 years.

This eclipse is in Earth sign Taurus that rules the 2nd house of physical belongings, personal finances, and the abundance of Mother Earth. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, meaning that Taurus is the best sign for the Moon. An eclipse is an absence of light when a shadow is seen. You can recognize and appreciate the earthly abundance that surrounds you.

Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, named after the goddess of love, art, and beauty. During the eclipse, Venus in Earth sign Capricorn sextiles Mars in passionate Scorpio. This transit favors love, romance, and the formation of new friendships. Venus trines Uranus in Taurus bringing the desire for something different and exciting to spice up the holiday season. The full Moon trines Pluto in Capricorn for positive and creative growth that is emotionally rewarding.

The full Moon is opposite the Sun and Mercury both in Scorpio. Focus on maintaining harmony between your work life and home life. The Sun and Mercury trine Neptune in Pisces providing an opportunity to be in touch with your feelings, and empathetic towards others. The Sun and Mercury sextile Pluto for transformative conversations and valuable insights. Eclipses come in pairs, and the next new Moon on December 3 is also an eclipse. Contact me to schedule your tarot reading and astrology forecast for this winter eclipse season.

The Moon, Sun, and Mercury square Jupiter in Aquarius. Under the influence of expansive Jupiter, it’s easy to be excessive with your favorite pleasures, especially during the peak of this Earth Pig lunar month. People tend to make big plans and set long-range goals, but it’s better to examine the plans you already have.

Uranus is opposite Mars so be careful while driving and traveling. Avoid others who are driving erratically, and steer clear of unruly airplane passengers. Uranus squares Saturn in Aquarius that could challenge your sense of order and discipline. Still, it’s fine for some indulgences during this Earth Pig month. Luck is strongest for Earth signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn and those born in Ox, Snake, Phoenix (Rooster), and Pig years.

Happy full Moon,

Susan

2021 Capricorn Full Moon in Ox Year

June 22, 2021 § Leave a comment

June 24, 2021 is a full Moon in Capricorn at 11:40 am PDT. Earth sign Capricorn rules the 10th house of career, social contribution, public image, and your status in society. Capricorn correlates to the Chinese astrology sign Ox. Like Capricorn, Ox is ethical, hardworking, and dependable. During this Capricorn full Moon in Ox year, and the two waning weeks of this lunar cycle, it’s an ideal time to refocus on career, organize your finances, and catch up on practical matters.

The full Moon sextiles Jupiter in Pisces bringing good feelings, optimism, and enjoyment of group activities, especially after Covid restrictions. With Mercury retrograde ending on June 22, cultivating friendships now will yield benefits for you in the future. Please contact me for your tarot card reading, astrology forecast, or feng shui consultation.

More good news are three major trines. The Sun newly in Cancer trines Jupiter newly in Pisces bringing enthusiasm for new experiences, and travel is fortunate. Mercury in Gemini trines Saturn in Aquarius for a stable viewpoint and the mental discipline to deal with practical matters and follow through with projects. Venus in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces that enhances creativity and increases empathy and compassion. If single, this Venus transit can indicate a new romance. If in a relationship, it’s time for some romance with your partner.

Challenges could result from Mars in Leo opposite Saturn in Aquarius. If progress is blocked by others, or people are angry with the way things are, the solution is hard work and physical activity. During a Capricorn Moon in Ox year, should challenges come up, proceed more slowly and cautiously to seek common ground and move toward resolution.

Both Mars and Saturn square Uranus in Taurus. There can be a general sense of restlessness, defiance of restrictions, and a tendency for impulsive, rash actions. If your sense of order and duty are challenged, stay steady. This full Moon is the peak of Horse month when no one wants to be told what to do, but it’s not the time to defy authorities in an Ox year. Save that for Tiger year 2022.

Opportunities for career advancement and social connection are for all, and are strongest for Earth signs Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo and those born in Ox, Rat, Snake, and Phoenix (Rooster) years.

Happy full Moon,

Susan
