Grand Fire Trine Full Moon

May 28, 2015 § 5 Comments

full moon horseJune 2, 2015 at 9:19 am PT is a full Moon in Sagittarius. Fire sign Sagittarius is a free spirit who loves adventure and seeks higher knowledge. The Sagittarius symbol is a half horse/half human archer shooting an arrow of truth to hit the mark. So the remaining two weeks of this lunar cycle are time to get to the heart of the matter by discovering and speaking your truth.

This Sagittarian full Moon trines Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries to create a fortunate grand Fire trine! People are friendly, warm, and supportive. They are generous and sincerely concerned with the welfare of others. There is a heightened interest in the meaning of life, of creating new structures and new ways of doing things. It’s easier to make needed changes in your environment, or make changes in your personal habits. Events from the past can be examined for new understanding and graceful release.

The Sun, Mercury, and Mars are conjunct in Gemini that brings energy, excitement, and a faster pace to life. But rational thought is influenced by emotions, and moods can change quickly. There’s a tendency to be hasty and irritable over small matters so maintain your equilibrium. This planetary conjunction is opposite the full Moon and squares Neptune in Pisces. People can be overwhelmed by demands of daily activities, and wonder if they’re on the right path in life. Under the influence of Neptune, idealism is aroused but concepts are not always practical. Mystical matters are of interest, but there is a need to stay grounded and realistic.

This full Moon marks the peak of Snake month. In Chinese astrology, Snake is a symbol of wisdom. Logical Snake thinks and ponders before taking action. So be like intelligent Snake and envision your outcome. It’s fine to slow down and contemplate during this exciting and fiery full Moon. During this time of opportunity and change, call me at 415.642.8019 or email to schedule your tarot, astrology, or feng shui consultation.

Happy full Moon,

Healing Baths during Mercury Retrograde

May 23, 2015 § 1 Comment

If you are feeling a bit scattered during this Mercury retrograde in Gemini, a series of 5 healing baths can help you feel better, get grounded, and be more in your body.

At a drug store, purchase a big bag of Epsom salts or a couple of boxes of baking soda (not baking powder). They are inexpensive and available for everyone. In the evening, take a bath in warm water with a half cup or full cup of Epson salts, or a bath of a half cup or full cup of baking soda. Be sure to submerge your head under the water. Stay in the water for as long as you can until the water cools off. You can take all 5 baths with the salt, or all 5 baths with the baking soda, or alternate in any order that you like. But don’t mix the salt with the baking soda.

If you have organic pure essential oils, add a few drops of lavender oil just before you get into the bath. Lavender is a flower of Gemini. Lavandin oil, derived from lavender, is also good. If lavender is too sweet for you, try organic essential oil of grapefruit or tangerine to clear your mind.

Hope you feel better soon.

Good luck,

May 17, 2015 at 9:13 pm is a new Moon in Taurus. The new Moon and Sun are both in Taurus, a sensual Earth sign ruled by Venus, planet of love, art, and beauty. Taurean Moon and Sun are conjunct Mercury and Mars in early degrees of Gemini. This brings intellectual stimulation, new ideas, inspired creativity, and interesting conversations. But Sun, Moon, and Mars are opposite Saturn to pace yourself and be thorough. Plus Mercury and Mars square Neptune to think before acting on emotions.

The ability for introspective thought and wise decision making is helped by Mercury retrograde from May 18 until June 11. Mercury is comfortable in rulership sign Gemini so you can cover much ground. Use these three weeks to get organized in preparation for the next new Moon on June 16 that begins Horse month, a time for action. Call me at 415.642.8019 or reply to this email to schedule your tarot, astrology, or feng shui consultation for clarity about life direction.

This new Moon in Taurus begins the month of the Metal Snake. The Snake lunar cycle is time to shed skins of the past, recycle, replace, and clean out the old. In feng shui, the Metal environment is clean, pristine, and highly functional. Now is the time for a transformational spring cleaning! Snake and Sheep (and Rabbit) are the artists of the Chinese zodiac making this Snake month in Sheep year ideal to beautify your environment. Fortunately, Venus in Cancer trines Neptune for enhanced creativity and an artistic eye to appreciate beauty.

Jupiter continues to trine Uranus for sudden luck and good fortune, and Uranus continues to square Pluto for political change on a global scale.

Happy new Moon,
