Mon Dec 30 is a strong Metal Horse day (white Horse) day. Horse brings a boost of energy during a lazy balsamic Moon. Moon sextiles Mars to put deep feelings into action. But Sun, Mercury, and Pluto square Mars and Uranus. Horse can be impulsive so watch out for accidents! Communication can be very direct. Energy winds down to the new Moon on Wednesday. Horse day luck strong for Horse, Tiger, Dog, and Sheep and Horse hours 11 am – 1 pm.

Tues Dec 31 is a Metal Sheep day on the last days of this lunar cycle. Many planets are in a conjunction — Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto — to tell what you really feel. But lots of squares so might not like what you hear! Lighten up on this New Year’s Eve and have some fun! Time for some Sheepy pampering. Clean up before new Moon tomorrow. Moon sextiles Neptune for imagination and easy impressions. Sheep day luck strong for Sheep, Rabbit, Horse, and Pig and Sheep hours 1 – 3 pm.

Wed Jan 1 – Happy New Year on a Water MONKEY (black Monkey) day! And happy new Moon! Today at 3:14 am PST is a new Moon that begins the month of the WOOD OX. Hard working Ox month is the best time to finish projects. Be inventive on this Monkey day and figure out how to best wrap up your affairs before Horse year beings on the next new Moon. Planets in a pack Sun, Moon, Mercury and Pluto are opposite Jupiter to think big! But this pack of planets squares Uranus and Mars so it’s better to be practical in an Ox month, especially now during the tail of Snake year. Ox month is lucky for Ox, Snake, Phoenix (Rooster), and Rat.

Thurs Jan 2 is a Water Phoenix (Rooster) day when the Moon conjuncts Venus for some art, love, and beauty. Lots of planets in a big square so make the best of it, and not complain or criticize. Find enjoyment and beauty in what you can create. Good day for feng shui enhancements, can add fresh flowers or plants for New Year. Phoenix day luck strong for Rooster, Ox, Dragon, and Snake and Phoenix hours 5 – 7 pm.

Fri Jan 3 is a Wood Dog day. Moon trines Mars for action and invention. But many squares in the heavens that can bring challenges or delay. Carve out some quiet time to recharge. Moon squares Saturn so perhaps better to work solo than in a team. Dog day luck strong for Dog, Rabbit, Tiger, and Horse and Dog hours 7 – 9 pm.

Sat Jan 4 is a Wood Pig day. Moon conjunct Neptune stimulates Pig idealism and utopian vision. A day for networking, day dreaming, and brainstorming. Take notes before you forget. But many planets in a square so not best time to execute plans. Enjoy on a Pig day instead! Pig day luck strong for Pig, Tiger, Rabbit, and Sheep and Pig hours 9 – 11 pm.

Sun Jan 5 is a clever Fire Rat (red Rat) day. The Moon trines Jupiter and Saturn, and sextiles the Sun, to problem solve, organize, and plan for 2014. Also a day for entertaining, living large, or a grand gesture. Rat loves the pack so good to be social. But there’s serious Pluto squares, and Mars squares, so don’t lose your temper in a verbal argument. Rat day luck strong for Rat, Ox, Dragon, and Monkey and Rat hours 11 pm – 1 am.
